This joint assessment by UNDP and the Central Statistical Organization of Myanmar examines the availability of data necessary to measure the indicators within the SDG framework. The approach of this data assessment, generally speaking, is to classify each SDG indicator as (a) already available/computed, (b) computable from existing data sources, or (c) additional data collection required. In the process of achieving this classification, a wealth of information on each indicator was collected.

The report shows that the National Statistical System of Myanmar has some work ahead of it in terms of preparing for the monitoring of the SDG indicators. Only 44 of the SDG indicators are currently produced and readily available at the national level. However, the good news is that many (97) of the missing indicators can be computed from existing data sources – often with little effort - and don’t require any additional data collection. The report concludes that Myanmar is in a decent position to start monitoring the SDGs, and should start as soon as possible in putting its existing data to full use for the SDGs.
 

ဤ အစီရင်ခံစာသည် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှုပန်းတိုင် မူဘောင် အတွင်းရှိ အညွှန်းကိန်းများ အားလုံးကို တိုင်းတာနိုင်ရန် လိုအပ်သည့် စာရင်း အချက်အလက်များ ရရှိနိုင်မှု အခြေအနေကို လေ့လာ သုံးသပ်ထားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ စာရင်း အချက်အလက် အကဲဖြတ်မှု နည်းလမ်းသည် ယေဘုယျ အားဖြင့် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှုပန်းတိုင် အညွှန်းကိန်းများအား (က) အဆင့်သင့် ရရှိနိုင်သည့် / တွက်ချက်ပြီးသည့် အညွှန်းကိန်း၊ (ခ) ရှိပြီးသည့် စာရင်း ရင်းမြစ်များမှ တွက်ချက် ရယူနိုင်သည့် အညွှန်းကိန်း၊ (ဂ) စာရင်း ထပ်မံ ကောက်ယူရန် လိုအပ်သည့် အညွှန်းကိန်းများ ဟူ၍ အမျိုးအစား ခွဲခြားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ထိုကဲ့သို့ အမျိုးအစား ခွဲခြား သတ်မှတ်နိုင်ရန် လုပ်ဆောင်ရာတွင် အညွှန်းကိန်း တစ်ခုချင်းစီ အတွက် လိုအပ်သည့် သတင်း အချက်အလက်များကို အမြောက်အမြား ကောက်ယူ စုစည်းခဲ့ပြီး အဆိုပါ သတင်း အချက်အလက်များအား ပူးတွဲဇယားဖြင့် ဖော်ပြထားပါသည်။ လိုအပ်နေသည့် အညွှန်းကိန်းများကို တွက်ချက်ရန်မှာ ဤ လုပ်ငန်း၏ အစိတ်အပိုင်း တစ်ရပ် မဟုတ်ဘဲ တွေ့ရှိချက်များအား အစိုးရနှင့် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှု မိတ်ဖက်များမှ ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် စာရင်းအင်း ကွာဟချက် ဖြည့်ဆည်းသည့် လုပ်ငန်း အတွင်း အားထုတ် ကြိုးပမ်းမှုများ ပြုလုပ်ရန် လိုအပ်သော သတင်း အချက်အလက်များ ပေးရန်နှင့် လုပ်ငန်း အဆင်ပြေ ချောမွေ့စေရန်သာ ရည်ရွယ်ပါသည်။

ဤ အစီရင်ခံစာတွင် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှုပန်းတိုင် အညွှန်းကိန်းများအား စောင့်ကြည့်လေ့လာခြင်း အတွက် ကြိုတင်ပြင်ဆင်မှုများ အပါအဝင် အမျိုးသား စာရင်းအင်းစနစ် အတွင်း ရှေ့ဆက် လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့် လုပ်ငန်းများကို တင်ပြထားါသည်။ ယခု အချိန်၌ ပြည်ထောင်စု အဆင့်တွင် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှုပန်းတိုင် အညွှန်းကိန်း (၄၄) ခုကိုသာ အဆင်သင့် ရယူ အသုံးပြုနိုင်မည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ သို့ရာတွင် ရှိနှင့်ပြီးသည့် စာရင်း အချက်အလက် ရင်းမြစ်များမှ တွက်ချက် ရယူနိုင်သည့် (အနည်းငယ် အားထုတ်မှုများ အပါအဝင်) အညွှန်းကိန်း (၉၇) ခု ရှိသဖြင့် ထပ်မံ စာရင်း ကောက်ယူရန် လိုအပ်လိမ့်မည် မဟုတ်ပေ။ နိဂုံးချုပ်ရပါမူ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှု ပန်းတိုင်များအား စောင့်ကြည့် လေ့လာမှုကို စတင် ဆောင်ရွက်ရန် ကောင်းမွန်သည့် အနေအထား ရှိနေပြီး၊ ရှိနှင့်ပြီးသည့် စာရင်း အချက်အလက်များကို အပြည့်အဝ အသုံးချနိုင်ရန် အမြန်ဆုံး စတင် အကောင်အထည်ဖော်သင့်ပါသည်ဟု အကြံပြုပါသည်။
